Nice dress, however awkward sizing
"I love the colours in this pink gingham dress and features of the dress including the elasticised neckband, pockets in the dress and material is nice and soft. That said, the sizing appears to be way off for the dress. I typically fit into a size 14 dress and have a 14F bust so having not purchased from this website before and based on the size chart, I purchased this dress in size 16 (with a few other items in that same size). On arrival, it was obvious this dress runs wayyy larger than drescribed and when tried on the dress was so oversized that it was falling off. There was a huge difference in this dress size to other size 16 pieces also. I returned the dress and exchanged for a size 12, guessing the dress I received was about 2 sizes too big. On arrival, the size 12 dress fit me much better, however the halter straps were too long, meaning the top proportions sat way too low. Luckily I have a sewing machine and could easily adjust the halter top strap to better fit, but this required reducing the halter neck length by about 5-6cm. This concept of this dress is lovely and I look forward to wearing it. But the sizing and fit could be better to improve shopping experience and sizing consistency."
